100% Canadian made cotton cord has been hand dyed by the artist using plants, Osage Orange Wood Chips creating a beautiful mustard colour. It is woven with the addition of natural coloured rope. The artist weaves hand dyed strips of hemp fabric throughout the basket to create texture and interest. The fabic is dyed using Osage Orange, Madder Root and Black Walnut for the handles. The basket is sewn into shape using off-white and yellow threads.
