Wanda Shum’s brooches are one of a kind works of art. They are made individually and have their own little personalities.
None of the details are painted. They are created in a technique called ‘millefiori’ with polymer clay. The patterns are made by wrapping different colors of clay together into rolls called ‘canes’. The image is revealed when the canes are sliced with a sharp blade.
Because it is constructed out of polymer clay, it makes a very light and durable piece of jewellery.
Don’t buy this art piece unless you’re willing to be stopped in your tracks by admirers!
Each one is personally signed by the artist on the back of each brooch.
